Dae Liebesman was crowned the national Miss Jr. American Jr. Teen in Anaheim California. Allison represented the state of Pennsylvania and competed in Interview, Fitness, Evening Gown, Fun Fashion and On Stage Question. She was also crowned Miss Photogenic and awarded the “Go-Getter” award for her platform. Allison was awarded scholarship money, a cruise, appearance wardrobe, photo shoots and many other fabulous prizes.
Allison’s platform is “Being Different Can Make A Difference” She was diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and double scoliosis at a young age. She says “These challenges helped me learn to overcome obstacles and fight for what I want to accomplish in life. I feel that if more teenagers would embrace what makes them different instead of trying always fit in, my generation could accomplish great things.” Allison hopes to start her own charity that will help raise money for research and raise awareness to hopefully one day find a cure for JRA.
Allison is a freshman at Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School and The Center For Performing and Fine Arts. She is the President of The National Junior Honor Society. She is very active in numerous charity organizations and has been Team Captain for Relay for Life the past two years helping to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. She was born on her great grandmother’s Birthday who is 98 and a cancer survivor!
Allison got her start with the local Barbizon Model and Talent Center and is now a bi-coastal actress represented by Mavrick Artists Agency, LA (Commercials and Voice Over); Artist Talent, LA (Theatrical Department), managed on the East Coast by B2B Management and the West Coast by Gem Entertainment Group. She has been in numerous commercials, short films, music videos and on TV. She just filmed a made for TV Musical and will appear on two other TV shows in the next few months. Since winning the title Allison has been featured in a full-page editorial in Pageantry Magazine and was a Titleholder of the Day on Pageant Planet. Some of her recent appearances including volunteering for IHOC, an organization that address the needs of the homeless, American Cancer Society Tree Lighting event, The Wilmington Grand Gala where she got to meet ELO, parades, and hosting regional pageants
In her spare time Allison enjoys photography, art, makeup artistry and teaching herself how to play the ukulele. Of course, as most teenagers do, she also loves to shop.
